About me
If you’re struggling with an eating disorder, OCD, trauma, or feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts and emotions, it can be hard to know where to begin. Therapy can offer a space to start making sense of what’s going on and to find a way forward that feels manageable.
I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist, Accredited CBT Therapist, and EMDR Practitioner based in North Wales. I offer therapy in Menai Bridge (Isle of Anglesey), Llandudno (Conwy), and online across the UK.
I specialise in working with eating disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and complex trauma, including where these difficulties may overlap with neurodivergence.
How I Can Help
I work with people experiencing:
Binge Eating Disorder, Anorexia, Bulimia, and ARFID
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Complex PTSD and trauma (including using EMDR therapy)
Difficulties related to neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism)
Many of the people I work with feel caught in patterns that are hard to shift, whether that’s around food, intrusive thoughts, or the lasting impact of earlier experiences.
My role is to help you understand what’s maintaining these patterns, and to support you in finding ways forward that feel both manageable and meaningful.
My Approach
I work integratively, drawing on CBT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR. This allows therapy to be tailored to you, rather than relying on a single model or approach.
EMDR can be particularly effective in processing traumatic memories and reducing their emotional intensity, and I may incorporate this where it fits with your needs and goals.
I place strong emphasis on adapting therapy for neurodivergent clients and for those who may have found previous therapy unhelpful or difficult to engage with. Therapy should feel accessible, collaborative, and grounded in your experience, not something you have to force yourself to fit into.
Experience and Training
I have worked across NHS mental health services, specialist trauma services, and eating disorder services, supporting people with a wide range of complex and often long-standing difficulties.
I hold a degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy, and a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT. I have also completed additional specialist training in eating disorders, Schema Therapy, and EMDR.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a clinical supervisor and trainer, supporting other therapists in developing their skills and practice.
